The new ASK 35 T compact compressed air system from KAESER

Dry compressed air - Cost-effective and dependable

pressinfo

As proven by the compact ASK 35 T rotary screw compressor system from KAESER, today’s advanced technology enables highly efficient compressed air production and treatment to take place with minimal space requirement. Quiet in operation and able to provide outstanding compressed air power, KAESER’s latest addition to the ASK series, the ASK 35 T, offers all of the advantages of the ASK 35, but also features an integrated refrigeration dryer.

With a footprint hardly larger than 1 m² and an exceptionally low sound level of 70 dB(A), the cost-effective ASK 35 T produces and dries 3.5  m³ of compressed air per minute at 7.5 bar. This system is therefore the perfect choice for smaller industrial environments and workshops where space is at premium, as it can be installed in close proximity to the work area. Also available in 11 or 15 bar maximum over-pressure versions, the ASK 35 T represents the very latest advances in compressed air system performance and design. Every unit uses a flow optimised “SIGMA PROFILE” fluid-cooled airend and a EU EFF1-rated motor to guarantee excellent specific power with high energy-efficiency. The motor and airend in every ASK unit are connected via a V-belt drive system that is equipped with an automatic tensioning device. This not only ensures constant and efficient power transmission, but also significantly reduces maintenance requirement. In addition, highly effective sound insulation and low airend speeds contribute to making these units ‘quieter than quiet’. An optimised cooling system with a specially designed cooling-air vent enables compressed air discharge temperatures of only 6 to 8K above ambient temperature, consequently reducing power requirements of the downstream air treatment equipment.
All ASK models are particularly service-friendly, as all filters are easily accessible and simple to change from the front of the unit. An observation window in the compressor cabinet makes fluid level inspection possible even when the unit is in operation.
The integrated refrigeration dryer module makes the ASK 35 T an efficient, compact compressed air system that is able to act as a reliable source of quality, dry compressed air at all times. Contained in its own separate cabinet there is more than sufficient space to allow all the components in the dryer to be generously sized yet easily accessible for maintenance. In combination with the optimised cooling system, this design also considerably enhances system reliability, as it prevents exposure of the refrigeration dryer to heat from the compressor package.
To ensure that the compressor precisely fulfils working requirements, the PC-based “SIGMA CONTROL” system constantly logs and processes performance data and is responsible for automatic system monitoring. The advantages don’t just stop there however, as the user is able to benefit from increased energy savings, reduced maintenance requirement, outstanding system reliability, and last, but not least, trouble-free connection to management control systems and KAESER’s Teleservice facility.
