In dental practices or laboratories compressed air is gaining more and more in importance. In order to cope with increasing demand, Kaeser has developed a new range of powerful and reliable compressors for its new "Kaeser Dental" series.
Even the turbine of a single drill needs 70 litres of compressed air per minute. In addition, there is a growing amount of equipment in the dental practice and lab that is powered by compressed air. Also, the spread of prophylactic measures in practices has led to an increase in air demand. Generally air powered instruments used for professional dental cleaning are significantly longer in operation and the intervals between each individual use are far shorter than for normal dental treatment. This is the reason why a reliable and secure supply of dry, hygienically perfect compressed air of low noise emission at the most reasonable cost has gained in importance.
Dental compressors from Kaeser satisfy all these requirements. The manufacturer has developed an optimised range using the latest technology in a very modern design. The new packages in the "Kaeser Dental" series are characterised by their increased air deliveries and a concept that is perfectly trimmed to latest engineering developments in dental treatment. They offer the user more capacity for the practice, clinic or laboratory and the assurance of the right volume and quality of compressed air whenever it is needed.
Depending on requirements, Kaeser Dental models are available to supply compressed air to one, two, three or five dental treatment units. Air deliveries are 65, 158 and 262 l/min at 5 bar in each case.
These oil-free reciprocating compressors are made in Germany and noted for their reliability, maintenance free design, long operational life and energysaving air-drying. The inside surfaces of the liners in the "high quality" cylinders have a structure that, thanks to special processing methods, makes "running in" superfluous. There is no significant wear after the unit has been commissioned, which means that the fine filter does not have to be prematurely changed. A Seccomat desiccant dryer and a microfilter fitted to the compressor’s air outlet ensure optimum compressed air treatment. On the user-friendly control panel all the controls are at hand and identified by easily understood icons. |
