KAESER’s new “Premium car 300/30 W” workshop compressor

Durability with performance

pressinfo

As conditions are often tough when carrying out construction and renovation work, tradespeople wear helmets and specialised footwear to protect themselves from falling objects. But what protection does a compressor have? This was given considerable thought at KAESER when designing the new “Premium car 300/30 W” and it’s certainly built for the job.

Admittedly, the unit’s exterior does look a little like a service trolley at first glance, but it is exactly that that makes the “Premium car 300/30 W” the ideal mobile compressor for use on construction sites and in environments with tough working conditions: The air receiver and compressor unit are protected from external damage by a frame with integrated transportation lugs and a strong cover plate. With a displacement volume of 300 l/min, 1.5 kW of drive power and an air receiver capacity of 28 litres, the “Premium car 300/30 W” is perfectly suited to a wide range of compressed air applications. For example, this versatile compressor can be used for nailing roof laths, fastening wooden panels, sandblasting and can even power smaller chipping hammers.
However, it’s not just the frame and cover plate that are built to cope with the rugged conditions, as the core of the compressor is also designed with durability and performance in mind. The reciprocating compressor system comprises a compact and service-friendly unit with high-efficiency cooling that incorporates both the drive motor and compressor block within a single housing. A quality electric motor provides plenty of power, even with under-voltage, which means that a normal 230 V power supply socket can be used even in conjunction with an extension cable. The compressor’s high quality cylinder is machined using a special finishing process to ensure negligible frictional wear during operation. This, combined with corrosion-resistant valves with stainless steel reeds and travel-limiters, makes for exceptional reliability, minimum maintenance requirement and long service life.
With an operational weight of only 45 kg and measuring just 77 cm long, 51 cm wide, and 45 cm high, the “Premium car 300/30 W” is simple to transport as it fits effortlessly into the luggage storage area of a normal car. In addition, the compressor’s compact design and low centre of gravity also ensure that the unit won’t flip over during transportation, even when taking corners at speed. Having arrived at the work site, the compressor is quickly ready for use and can be easily moved to where it’s needed by simply using the transport grip and wheels.

B-Premium-car300-webThe robust “Premium car 300/30 W” reciprocating compressor from KAESER is designed to cope with the toughest of working conditions and provides reliable and efficient compressed air production.
