A reliable, versatile compressor is an essential asset on every construction site. However, in view of continuously soaring fuel prices construction site compressors are also increasingly required to provide optimum energy efficiency. Kaeser is therefore proud to introduce the "Mobilair 200". Featuring Kaeser`s advanced "Sigma Control mobile" compressor and engine control system, this portable powerhouse meets all of these criteria and more. It's certainly no exaggeration to say that the "Mobilair 200" packs an impressive punch when it comes to quality compressed air production: Directly driven by a 146 kW diesel engine from renowned manufacturer 'Caterpillar' and featuring flow-optimised 'Sigma Profile' airend rotors, the rotary screw compressor provides a free air delivery of 19.7 m³/min at 8.6 bar (g). 10, 12 and 14 bar versions are also available each delivering 18, 16 and 14.5 m³/min respectively. A 7 bar (g) model with a FAD of 21.2 m³/min is additionally available for countries outside of the EC. Almost belying its impressive performance, the compressor always keeps its cool even at ambient temperatures as high as 50 °C thanks to Kaeser's highly effective cooling system. The compressor unit is mounted on a robust single-axle AlKo chassis to provide optimum protection and manoeuvrability. Available with various equipment options, the "Mobilair 200" provides a flexible source of energy for a wide range of construction site needs: For special applications, it can be supplied as a skid-mounted version rather than as a standard chassis-mounted model. Optional additional equipment includes air treatment systems to provide cool, dry, technically oil-free air of various classes to meet the special demands of e.g. concrete repair as per German ZTV-SIB regulations, or fresh air. "Sigma Control mobile": User-friendly and saves fuel
To enable users to take full advantage of the maximum efficiency potential of the
"M 200", Kaeser Kompressoren created an innovative electronic control system: By precisely matching motor power to actual compressed air demand, the new "Sigma Control mobile" (SCm) enhances compressed air availability as well as fuel efficiency. Moreover, the electronically controlled air intake valve allows system pressure to be precisely controlled to within 0.1 bar directly from the SCm's display. These features not only make operation simple, but also significantly enhance fuel efficiency even when operating at partial load. Specially tailored for Kaeser "Mobilair" products, the SCm was built to withstand the toughest of construction site conditions: A sturdy metal cover protects the control panel, screen and input keys of the shock- and vibration-resistant control system. Furthermore, the system is protected to IP 65 standards and can be used in a temperature range from -20 °C to +70 °C. Amongst its many talents, the "Sigma Control mobile" displays operational data, indicates operational modes, utilises logically structured menus for maximum user-friendliness and enables performance monitoring and remote diagnostics. Further features include engine diagnostics, comprehensive system monitoring and alerts to potential problems and various maintenance messages. Users are therefore able to benefit from all of the advantages that modern compressed air technology has to offer including maximum machine availability and unrivalled system performance. |
