The New Mobilair 30 Portable Compressor from KAESER

Construction site applications not only require a dependable source of compressed air that is available in the correct volume and quality – the air should also be available wherever it’s needed, whenever it’s needed. The Mobilair 30 portable compressor from Kaeser was specifically designed with these needs in mind, as it combines exceptional power, efficiency and quiet operation with outstanding manoeuvrability.

One of the first things that strikes you when looking at the Mobilair 30 is the unusual design it shares with it’s successful smaller brother, the Mobilair 26, which was first introduced three years ago: Ensuring long-term value retention, the corrosion- and scratch-resistant sound enclosure creates the unit’s rounded, dynamic look and hides the key to its impressive performance: The rotary screw airend is especially designed to run continuously at full load and is driven by a powerful water-cooled Kubota turbo-diesel engine. Therefore, with a free air delivery of 3 m³/min at 7 bar, the Mobilair 30 is more than capable of powering two 20 kg breakers or other tools such as air lances, spades, impact borers and surface-blasting equipment. The compressor not only ensures maximum reliability, but is also remarkably quiet with sound levels of only 69 dB(A). Furthermore, as the unit weighs less than 500 kg (empty weight), it is highly manoeuvrable and truly lives up to its “Mobilair” name. Users will also appreciate a further feature of this new compressor: KAESER’s patented Anti-Frost Control. This system is particularly useful at times of the year when ambient temperatures are lower, as it protects air tools against freezing and corrosion. Last, but not least, a hose reel with a lightweight 20-metre hose is available as an optional extra. This accessory enables the compressed air line to be neatly stowed away and eliminates the possibility of it becoming a tripping hazard.
