The “Compact BB 52 C” from Kaeser not only rounds off the company’s smaller capacity rotary blower range, but also features a wide range of technical innovations to provide added benefits for the end user. These versatile units are equipped with a corrosion- and scratch-resistant sound enclosure made from rotation-sintered polyethylene, which ensures super-silent performance. All components are easily accessible from the front of the unit once this lightweight cover is removed. BB 52 C series blowers are available with motor powers from 1.5 kW to 7.5 kW and deliveries from 0.55 to 4.8 m³/min for pressures up to 1000 mbar (g), or 500 mbar (vacuum). Models designed for outdoor installation are also available. Meticulous design and logical component layout mean that “Compact” series blower systems require minimal floor space. Furthermore they are highly energy-efficient, which, in view of continuously soaring energy prices, is a significant advantage. Each model is fitted with an energy-saving ‘EU-eff1’ rated motor as standard and features Omega Profile rotors and a specially designed block casing to ensure low energy consumption and outstanding performance. Efficiency is further enhanced by Kaeser’s advanced cooling system, as the blower intake air and motor cooling air are drawn in separately from the ambient surroundings. “Compact” series blowers are the ideal choice for use in filtration plants and filter flushing applications associated with water treatment, as well as for pneumatic conveying and processes requiring vacuum.
The inlet and discharge silencers ensure exceptional performance throughout the unit’s entire operational range, i.e. at all speeds and duty points. In addition, the three-lobe “Omega Profile” rotor versions not only ensure low sound levels during operation, but also enable considerably decreased pulsation compared with standard rotor profiles. |
