KAESER “Compact” series rotary blowers provide significant user advantages, as they combine exceptional availability, energy efficiency and ease of maintenance with quiet performance and long service life. KAESER KOMPRESSOREN has now extended this range of powerful mid-range rotary blowers with the addition of its two latest models, the CB 110 C and CB 130 C. “Compact” series rotary blowers are equipped with flow-optimised “OMEGA PROFILE” rotors and deliver pressures up to 1000 mbar (g), or 500 mbar (vacuum). The CB 110 C model has a maximum pressure of 800 mbar (g), whilst the CB 130 C can reach 1000 mbar (g) - they provide flow rates of 9.7 and 12.3 m³/min respectively. Both provide a maximum vacuum of 500 mbar (a) and, according to model, have volume flow rates of 9.8 and 12.4 m³/min.
Meticulous design and logical component layout make maintenance work simple, as these space-saving units are accessed from the front and all pipe connections as well as ventilation openings are located at the rear. This not only significantly reduces maintenance costs, but also means that they can be placed right next to each other to save even more space.
Both models are fitted with an energy-saving ‘EU-eff1’ rated motor* (18.5 or 30 kW max. rated power) as standard and feature “OMEGA PROFILE” rotors and a specially designed block casing to ensure low energy consumption, outstanding performance and minimal sound levels.
The inlet and discharge silencers ensure exceptional performance throughout the unit’s entire operational range, i.e. at all speeds and duty points. In addition, the three-lobe “OMEGA PROFILE” rotor versions not only ensure low sound levels during operation, but also make for considerably decreased pulsation compared with standard rotor profiles. Both units can be provided with soundproof enclosures equipped with noise-damping material and sound-insulating louvered intake/outlet vents. If required, KAESER blowers are also available as super-soundproofed versions, which keep sound levels to an absolute minimum.
“Compact” series blowers are the ideal choice for use in filtration plants and filter flushing applications associated with water treatment, as well as for pneumatic conveying and processes requiring vacuum.
