The complete component kit | |
KAESER KOMPRESSOREN has developed a complete pre-assembled component kit system, which is designed to provide cost-effective compressed air system installation and unrivalled efficiency. It enables users to benefit from significant savings even before the compressed air system has completed its first hour of operation. The system comprises a space-saving Kaeser rotary screw compressor with refrigeration dryer and an “EasyFIT” receiver system ranging in size from 150 l to 500 l. The “EasyFIT” kit principle is best described as a “plug and play” system. All the fittings (three ball valves, pressure relief valve, test flange, pipe connections and pressure gauge) are pre-assembled, sealed and tested for leaks. The scope of delivery also includes two integrated, perfectly matched hoses. The “EasyFIT” air receiver is pot galvanized inside and out. If required, the system can be supplied fitted with a micro-filter. The two hoses, with a union nut at each end, serve to make the connection between the compressor/dryer, the air receiver and the air network. They can be fitted in a few minutes with an open-ended spanner. All that remains to be done is to connect the compressor and dryer to the power supply and the system is ready for operation. The amount of work required for installation is therefore only a fraction of that needed for other systems. The compressor/ refrigeration dryer package is designed to provide optimum energy-efficiency, reliability and ease of maintenance. Compared with conventional compressors, the KAESER rotary screw compressor with its “SIGMA PROFILE” rotors and flow-optimised airend generates more air for less energy consumption. Depending on model, drive power is between 2.2 and 15 kW.
These units are also equipped as standard with the PC-based “SIGMA CONTROL” internal controller, which brings additional advantages such as: increased energy savings, reduced maintenance requirement, enhanced reliability, seamless communication with existing control centres and the ability to connect to KAESER’s Teleservice facility.
Furthermore, a centrifugal separator with an electronic ECO DRAIN reliably removes condensate discharged from the compressor's after-cooler, thereby increasing performance and, at the same time, easing the burden on the downstream air dryer. The refrigeration dryer causes only minimal pressure drop and is fitted with the well-proven hot-gas bypass control. A second ECO DRAIN is also used here to ensure reliable condensate removal without pressure- or air-loss.
All of these factors combine to provide the user with a reliable source of quality compressed air treated to the required dew point. Servicing and maintenance work is also made simple thanks to logical system design, easy component access and wide opening doors. |
