All that’s required is a KAESER rotary screw compressor equipped with the very latest version of KAESER's 'SIGMA CONTROL'. This powerful PC-based compressor controller can now show all information in any 1 of 30 selectable languages at just the press of a button. 
Featuring four pre-programmed control modes, the ‘SIGMA CONTROL’ continuously adjusts compressor power to match compressed air demand enabling optimum energy consumption. Using a ‘safety chain’ system to protect the unit from damage, the system monitors compressor operation and signals error alarms and maintenance schedules. All data relevant to the operational and maintenance status of the compressor can be instantly displayed and is stored in a detailed event memory. Maintenance and service work is made simpler and can be carried out more efficiently leading to significantly reduced costs. The intuitive user-friendly interface enables easy on-site operation through its clearly structured command menus. The SIGMA CONTROL’s communication skills are far from limited to its multilingual capability, as standard interfaces (Profibus) enable connectivity with master control systems such as the KAESER ‘Sigma Air Manager’. Furthermore, the SIGMA CONTROL enables system access via KAESER’s Teleservice facility: This system means that service technicians can not only be made aware of pending maintenance work and carry out relevant actions via the unit’s display and user-interface, but can also communicate directly with the compressor system using their PC or laptop.
