General needs of trade and industry

The compressed air needs of industry are today mostly provided for by rotary screw compressors. This trend is growing also among tradesmen, and Kaeser rotary screw compressors reflect this trend in that there are over 200,000 of these economical and reliable machines in service around the world.

PET bottle production

Kaeser has conceived an especially economic compressed air system for PET bottle production. It consists of a low-pressure stage (rotary screw air compressor), a high-pressure stage (booster) and a refrigeration dryer. The advantages are low investment and operating costs with highest possible operational reliability.

Tunnelling and oil containment

Mobilair diesel-driven compressors are as economical as they are flexible in application. They are used, for instance, as air suppliers in tunnelling (fourth Elba tunnel, above) or for a ready and reliable source of air for oil spill containment.

Drying, aerating and conveying

Kaeser rotary blowers are employed in pressure or vacuum applications for drying, aerating water treatment basins, conveying powder or granular material, cleaning by suction, inspection and packaging.

Dust suction, packaging and filtration

Some examples of applications for rotary screw vacuum packages are dust suction, packaging, inspection processes, drying, degassing and filtration, bottle and tube filling. These machines feature the specially designed vacuum airend and, like the screw compressors, these machines are also equipped with the industrial computer-based SIGMA CONTROL.
