A world première at NordBau 2018: the Mobilair M118 portable compressor offers flexible pressure and flow rate.
A world première at NordBau 2018 – the Mobilair M118 portable compressor from Kaeser: sharing the compact design of the highly successful M125, the latest addition to the Mobilair portable compressor family is powered by a low-emission 85kW Deutz engine. Just like its larger-engined M125 cousin, the M118 model also features pXv control to enable on-the-go adjustment of maximum pressure. Operation using the Sigma Control Mobil control is as simple as ever, including pressure adjustment via the arrow keys. The selected pressure (p) affects the maximum possible flow rate (v). Therefore, the compressor delivers an impressive flow rate of 10.2 m³/min at 10 bar. If the maximum pressure is reduced, depending on the work process, the capacity increases accordingly, up to a maximum of 11.5 m³/min at 7 bar. Needless to say, the M118 can be configured with air treatment capability to provide a supply of cool or technically oil-free compressed air.
The innovative i.Comp 3 trades and workshop compressor offers a host of user advantages: it is robust, powerful, compact, easy to handle and maintenance-friendly. Moreover, the new i.Comp is a portable, infinitely adjustable reciprocating compressor manufactured to the highest industrial quality standards for which Kaeser is world-renowned. 100% Made in Germany, it can be taken anywhere. Using oil-free compression, this versatile compressor is ideal for continuous operation and, thanks to its variable-speed motor, ensures exceptional efficiency – with no need for an air receiver. The tried-and-tested Kaeser controller provides pressure preset and infinitely variable speed capability. Even with cable lengths of 150 metres, it operates flawlessly and delivers constant pressure up to 11 bar, with absolute operational reliability.
In addition, NordBau's focus on the 'Digital Construction Site' also takes centre stage at the Kaeser stand: visitors can take a good look under the enclosure of the exhibits or keep a watchful eye on remote machines in real time using the Mobilair Fleet Management online tool, for example, to access current operating data, to evaluate machine performance, to find out when the next service is due or to pinpoint their location.
At its usual location in the ‘Nord’ outdoor exhibition area, Kaeser will be showcasing all aspects of environmentally-sound, efficient compressed air production on construction sites, offering an opportunity to put Mobilair portable compressors with petrol or diesel engines and electric drives through their paces.
