Short Instructions

DANGER

Danger of force being exerted on the body due to sudden release of pressure

  • Stop the machine and wait until it has vented.
  • Open all discharge valves at the compressed air outlet.
  • Check that the pressure gauge reads 0 bar.
  • Ensure that all pressurised components are fully vented.

Before each machine start, make sure that the machine is in a clean condition.

Before each machine start, check the condensate collection tank and empty it if there is condensate inside.

To start the drive motor, hold the start switch in the rightward position for no longer than 3 seconds. Should the drive motor fail to start, turn the start switch back to the 0 position and wait for 10 seconds before trying again. Do not turn the start switch to the right whilst the motor is running.

Operating elements

Operating elements

  1. Compressed air outlet pressure gauge
  2. Operating hours counter
  3. EMERGENCY STOP button
  4. Start switch
  5. "Voltage applied to controller" status LED
  6. Motor fault control indicator
  7. Airend discharge temperature control indicator
  8. Phase sequence monitoring control indicator
  9. Voltage monitoring control indicator
  10. Back pressure monitoring control indicator
Start switch positions

Proceed as follows:

  1. Ensure that the bodywork and all cover panels are closed.
  2. Ensure that no consumers are connected and the compressed air discharge valve is open.
  3. Check and pull out the EMERGENCY STOP switch (3).
  4. Turn the start switch (4) rightwards to position I
    -  The "Voltage applied to controller" status LED (5) is illuminated.
  5. Turn the start switch rightwards to position II; hold and then release as soon as the drive motor starts
    -  The start switch remains in position I, the "Voltage applied to controller" status LED (5) is illuminated, the drive motor runs.
  6. Close the compressed air discharge valve.
  7. Allow the machine to run in IDLE for 3-5 minutes.
  8. Connect a consumer and open the compressed air discharge valve
    -  The machine switches to LOAD and begins to generate compressed air.
  9. Close the compressed air discharge valve to stop the machine generating compressed air.
  10. Allow the machine to run in IDLE for 15-20 seconds.
  11. Turn the start switch leftwards to position 0.
  12. Wait until the machine has vented automatically
    -  The pressure gauge (1) reads 0 bar.

The machine shuts down automatically as soon as the airend discharge temperature rises above the permissible limit value. The fault is indicated by the airend discharge temperature control indicator. Wait until the machine has cooled down before restarting.

The longer the compressed air hoses, the more the compressed air cools down. As the compressed air cools, it releases moisture that can damage compressed air tools. Use short compressed air hoses in order to keep condensate formation to a minimum.

Quick Tips

  • Check electrical connection.

  • Check whether the bonnets and doors of the system are closed during operation.
  • Check the installation conditions such as distance to walls or similar.
  • Check fluid levels (compressor oil).
  • Clean the radiator.
